Being a child in the middle age was tough. They were always training to become a soldier, and had no real help from the internet like we use to now. The major issue was that poor children did not afford much food, neither a stable shelter.
Some of the unfortunate died, and that is why being a child, or living in the middle ages in general is very hard and exhausting.
