OK, I admit it! I will always (be) a 'wannabe
holidaymaker, whether we are talking
about winter or summer holidays. I was (be)
eager to choose new locations, to gather
together groups of fine people and to make
reservations. I once talked (talk) to a travel agent
who promised (promise) luxurious accommodation,
fine food and interesting places to visit but
1 I was (be) disappointed to find out most of
my expectations proved (prove) much too high.
Let's hope all this represents only (represent) a thing
of the past. As for the future, I hope that by
the end of this summer we will visit (visit) China. If
everything goes (go) as planned, on the 19th of
July we will fly (fly) to our destination!
